Many years ago, it was exactly this which led me to leave teaching and become a dog behaviourist. Since then, I’ve:
gained a distinction in my post grad in animal behaviour
worked with hundreds of dogs and their brilliant owners
achieved world-class professional accreditations
become a guest lecturer at Edinburgh Uni’s Vet School
had my research published in a peer-reviewed journal
… but I’ve never lost sight of how it actually feels to live with a dog who is struggling.
